Our final event of the 2019 Season, the Adult/Child TopTracer event at PLGC on Sunday 15th December saw teams of 1 Adult and 1 Child paired-up in an alternate shot format over 9 holes of the TopTracer system’s Kiawah Island Course.
With a hot chocolate from Clarets to help to stave off the chill, the twelve teams involved all enjoyed the challenge and there were some impressive performances on-show.
Two teams outperformed all the others as they tied for the top spot, each returning level par scores in the tricky Foursomes (or Alternate Shot) format. Fred & Sandy Hutchison and Reece & Steven Nicol each negotiated the testing back-nine stretch of Kiawah Island to win by a couple of strokes from their closest competitors.
These events have proved to be fun and a little different so we’ll host a few more of these in the early part of 2020. Keep an eye out for dates in the New Year!
