It was a beautiful day at Nairn Dunbar Golf Club for the second PLF Winter Series event of the year and Calum Daun made the most of the fair conditions to record a 66 to ease to victory in the Scratch competition – six shots ahead of his nearest challenger, Scott Lawrie (72). Finlay Wickenden took third place with his round of 76.
In the Nett competition, Alastair McNeil 85 (17) 68 pipped Josh Allardyce on the last nine holes after he too signed for a 68 – 78 less 10. In third place and continuing his decent form from the previous week’s event at Royal Dornoch, David Oddy scored a nett 70 – 86 less his 16 handicap.
Everyone in the field thoroughly enjoyed the test and condition of Nairn Dunbar on such a mild day early in the season.
