A beautiful morning gave way to mixed weather conditions day on the links as a strong wind got up late in the morning to make the shortened lay-out for the Championship Course at Dornoch play significantly longer than it’s yardage.
Nairn’s Callum Scott coped best as his level par effort led from the beginning. In the Boys Nett competition, David Oddy’s 69 for 53 was an excellent effort. Meanwhile, Summer Elliott & Katrina Tan topped the Girls event with their score of 69.
