It was a beautiful day for the first flag event of 2022 in which we saw over 30 kids playing at the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre.

In the Under 10s Girls, Isla Wood reached the 7th tee to claim first prize. Olivia Legge in her first flag competition finished as runner up.

The Under 10s Boys saw Harry Mawhinney reach all the way to the 11th tee to finish in 1st position and set a new personal best for himself. Euan Youngson finished runner up and Harris Allan claimed 3rd spot playing in his first flag competition.

Lois Reid claimed 1st prize in the Under 12s girls event with another PB performance as she made it all the way to the 10th tee. Lois Mair took 2nd place as she finished on the 8th tee. Edith Malcolm took 3rd place in her first flag competition finishing on the 7th fairway.

Fletcher Riach got all the way to the 11th green to claim top prize in the under 12s boys section. Aiden Watson reached the 11th green with his 36th shot and a new personal best which saw him take home 2nd prize. Alan Tang made it to the 10th tee which saw him claim 3rd prize in his section.

Well done to everyone involved, some very impressive golf on display.
