RESULTS
We had beautiful, sunny weather for today’s Flag competition at Paul Lawrie Golf Centre and the kids made the most of the excellent conditions with some really good results.
In the Under 10s Girls, Lucy Milne topped her section by making it through seven holes, edging out Amy Blackadder (2nd) and Lois Reid (3rd).
Mitchell Sinclair & Conlan Waldron jointly headed-up the Boys Under 10s as they both holed-out at the 9th with their 36th shots. Ollie Robertson finished just shy of them by making the 9th green.
Evie MacDonald claimed the win in the Under 12s Girls as she holed-out at the 8th to use her shot allocation. Eve Ironside was second and Isla Reid claimed 3rd place.
In the Under 12s Boys it looked like the record was under threat as Oli Blackadder cruised past the 9th & 10th holes with shots to spare. He made it through the eleventh and required a good tee shot at the 12th to equal the Flag Course Record at Paul Lawrie Golf Centre. His tee shot hit the left side of the green and kicked down toward the water but it was a terrific performance from one of the most consistent performers.
Well done to everyone who took part. We look forward to some more good weather and excellent results in our upcoming Flags!
