This event is ‘Open’ to all boys under age of 18. (maximum handicap 6.4) The lowest 80 boys based on handicap and conditions of tournament will qualify It will be played over 54 holes over three days of play at Castle Park GC, a par 71 course measuring 6,443 yrds, with a cut made after day 2 of the top 40 and tied. Practice Rounds will be available 2 weeks prior to the event

The SGFJ&V will form part of the Race to The Machrie* series, run in conjunction with both the Barrie Douglas Foundation and Stephen Gallacher Foundation – leading players from each of the three events will qualify to play in a final event to be staged at the magnificent Machrie Golf Course & Hotel on Islay over the weekend of 11th & 12th (TBC) September 2021 – please refer to the Tournament Calendar for the Race to Machrie Final details.
