The event is a 54 hole stroke play event over 3 days over Strathmore GC, there shall be no cut. All entrants ages are based on 1st January 2021 36 x U18 Boys ( Max Hcp 6.4) 36 x U16 Boys ( Max Hcp 10.4) 30 x U18 Girls ( Max Hcp 25.4) up to 18 Wildcard picks by SGF Committee. Barrie Douglas was one of the most popular figures across Scottish Amateur Golf and beyond, a man whose infectious enthusiasm and love for the sport rubbed off on so many. We are honoured and delighted to help and support the event for 2021 in Barries memory, he was a great supporter of Junior golf in Scotland and we are sure this event will grow from strength to strength in years to come.

The BDJSM will form part of the Race to The Machrie* series, run in conjunction with both the Barrie Douglas Foundation and Stephen Gallacher Foundation – leading players from each of the three events will qualify to play in a final event to be staged at the magnificent Machrie Golf Course & Hotel on Islay over the weekend of 11th & 12th (TBC) September 2021 – please refer to the Tournament Calendar for the Race to Machrie Final details.

*note handicaps at close of entries will be used to determine the starting field should a ballot be necessary but please ensure you include your handicap at time of entry and include your CHD number within the ‘Comments’ box on the event ticket form
