Conditions were good for today's Flag event at the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre. A spot of overnight rain (much needed) had helped to freshen things up and competitors were able to enjoy warm sunshine and only a little breeze.
In the Under 10s Girls competition, Charlotte Jean topped her section making it to the 8th, ahead of Alice Rhodes (7th green) and Catherine Bell, who got close to the 7th green.
For the Under 10s Boys, there was a two-way tie for third place with Declan McCaul & Alexander Wisely. In 2nd place, Rhys Yule was only bettered by Oli Blackadder - Oli holed-out at the 9th.
Lottie Rhodes, elder sister of Alice, finished top of her class in the Under 12s Girls as she made it to the edge of the 8th hole. Brooke Evans and Katie Cooper (playing in her first PLF FLag event) finished in 2nd & 3rd places respectively.
The Under 12s Boys was won by Fraser Laird, as his 36th shot came to rest pin-high left of the 10th hole. Runner-up in the U12s Boys was Max To (he holed-out at 9). Alfie Nicol finished in 3rd place with his flag marking the finishing position of his 36th stroke on the 9th green.
